As more than 2,5 billion people are in lockdown around the world the Corona Virus outbreak has brought many parts around the globe to a sudden halt. With more than 400 000 confirmed cases and almost 20 000 reported deaths many people are still trying to cope with this unusual situation. People are trying to hoard enormous amounts of toilet paper. Something that was unimaginable a few months ago. Professional groups that we were unaware are important turn out to be the backbone in this crisis – care givers, cashiers, etc.
Sectors that seemed to be a guarantee to making money have got under stress. This include the tourism sector with all the rental apartments. AirBnB is experiencing a severe drop of bookings as the travel sector is down.
